Sending Love & Light its Lockdown Level 3
With uncertain times for so many our volunteers took to the streets with 60 Care packages & blankets to share with our streetie’s in Auckland City it wasn't near enough to cover for the multitudes living rough the night was a cold one with many snuggled up in blankets lining the pavement huddled in small spaces for cover and warmth the usual soup kitchen was closed met with many smiles and grateful people so happy to receive their bags. (Thank you Lisa & Wendy helping to provide for them)
Its been a busy time, unexpected for many with the sudden level 3 lock-down our work has intensified and we have opened up a daily food bank service once again at the Whangaparaoa Hall hearing level 3 remains we are able to still continue meals on Sundays being takeaway and contact-less last week we made over 200 meals this week we expect to make more.
