ROAD TRIP TO AUCKLAND CITY? FEEDING THE HOMELESS
As soon we start Serving at the Auckland City Mission the definite highlight was when the music started playing and we get our groove on.. Thank you the team at Auckland City Mission for your warm welcome and help, tonight we served over 100 meals.

Community meals, Food Rescue, getting Fresh air and enjoyable doggie beach walkies, Deliveries to Auckland City & Helensville, Take away meals given out to Baptist Church for struggling families, Food Parcels, Fundraising at Coast Christmas Carnival organised by Danny @ Earthstone Arts we did it all this week…. Including the completion of our Shed!!

Yay our trailer is now ready to use and legal on the road. Great to see our friends at Hibiscus Coast WOF centre with Ursula no time to waste, we took away some rubbish that was collecting over time and picked up wood planks from Mitre 10 to get that shed sorted,

Whangaparaoa Hall We Have been providing Food to the community via our Community meals, Gardens, Then Pantry, Food Rescue for some months …..now check out our Fridge!!! Checked Daily you are welcome to come and help yourself to any of it. and if you are in the giving spirit you are welcome to donate.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE?
This week we got the opportunity to meet with Ani & William Feed a Family Northland, to deliver cheese very nice to connect with 2 amazing people that serve the Northland Community helping people in need. Puhoi Valley Sponsor us cheese weekly which we try and get it out to as many charities we can. around the North Island. Heartfelt Thank you Frank Director of Metro NZ Property Management For sponsoring us, We enjoyed Frank & Mitchell joining us to help with tonight’s community meal.
100 REASONS TO SMILE
Tonight we fed 100 happy guests, with around 12 volunteers. our Love family is growing, at 3pm we had a good crowd turn up for our event with Tori @ Compost Collective & Love Food Hate Waste, We love collaborating with them, as we believe in how important it is to raise awareness of how much is wasted and protecting our environment.

Went to 3 Kings Auckland today for Love Food Hate Waste – New Zealand Seminar run by Lucy, Got some fabulous learning tools we can use in our workshops. Did you know with them left over sausages or meat you can store in a salt water #OfftheGrid as an additional way of keeping it still good to eat, and that left over Feta we all love <3 can be immersed in olive oil to marinate with herbs and lemon. You can Freeze Cheese even whipped cream freezes great! .

THE ROAD TO RESILIENCE ELEVATE CHRISTIAN DISABILITY CAMP
Labour weekend 3 of our volunteers Cheryl, Nelly & Myself (Julie) , attended Elevate Christian Disability Camp Being around almost 400 over the weekend that face the most severe challenges in life, teaches you to be humble for what you have. I really struggled this weekend, but know It was good to be there, we came as helpers. Each of us assigned someone to care for. It made me reflect and focus on things that really matter, Forced me to reevaluate my own life & the importance of Family.

This week we travelled to South Auckland to deliver Cheese to Charities, Today we got to deliver several Organisations on the Hibiscus Coast, Next week Helensville.

We like to encourage children to be involved in helping, their enthusiasm to be involved, is like happy sparkles of energy around us.
Putting yourself in someone else’s shoes is also a crucial building block for other caring emotions.
FEED THE HOMELESS AUCKLAND CITY WALK
Tonight, Feed the Homeless Auckland, had their Monthly walk around the city, (held on the first Saturday of each month. giving out Kai and Care packages, this was their 6th Month of the walks, Its gaining momentum with a rather large crowd joining us tonight, we were put into 7 groups with designated area Volunteer coordinators that led us around.
